My Story and Why I Created Sheer Faces Digital

Hi my name is LaShondra and I want to welcome you to my very first blog post here on Sheer Faces. I am excited to share my story because it plays a big part in why I teach what I teach and why I am so passionate about helping women create more income and confidence through beauty and digital tools.

I have been a licensed cosmetologist for years and I fell in love with lash extensions because they gave me something I had been searching for for a long time. Freedom. Freedom to create. Freedom to earn. Freedom to build a business that fit my life as a single mom raising six children. When I first started lashing I did not have all the information I needed. I learned by trying, struggling, adjusting, and pushing myself through fear and doubt.

Even when clients were slow.
Even when money was tight.
Even when I questioned if I was good enough.

Every lesson I learned along the way helped shape the woman and business owner I am today.

As I grew in my lash career something else started to grow in me. I realized I loved helping other women understand how to build their own lash business. I loved guiding them through the steps, the mistakes, the mindset, and the choices that help you go from uncertain to confident. I discovered that my real passion was teaching women how to use their skills to create income that can change their lives.

Over time I added digital products, templates, guides, and eventually AI tools into my business. These resources made everything faster and easier for both me and my students. I saw the difference they made and I knew it was time to expand Sheer Faces beyond just lash services.

Today I am in a new chapter. I still offer lash extensions but I am transitioning into teaching and creating digital tools full time. My mission is to help lash artists learn how to grow their business, attract clients they enjoy working with, and use digital products to create extra income without adding more hours to their day.

If you are a mom trying to build a business while balancing life, work, and family, I understand you. If you are trying to make more money without feeling overwhelmed, I understand that too. My hope is that my journey inspires you to start your own.
